Is there any concern about what the students are missing in the classroom when they are pulled out 5 days a week?

01:27:31
Amanda Neitzel - aneitzel@jhu.edu. Willing to answer any questions about proven tutoring models, evidence-based approaches or anything about research.

01:27:52
Question for Anne: Are you seeing a matriculation of your AmeriCorps members into the teaching profession as they become familiar with the profession through their tutoring experience?

01:27:56
That's always a great question, however, if student cannot read, they cannot do anything else effectively. We tried not to pull during core subjects, but they did have to miss some art, music, etc. but its not forever. Its only temporary.
