For ESSER III there was a requirement for SEA's to keep 10% of funds. For ESSER I and II it's my understanding that SEA's could keep up to 10% but were not required to. Did all SEA's keep the 10% from ESSER I and II?

How much ESSER funding is going to the Grow Your Own Program?
Dr. Shuana Tucker, CSDE
01:01:24
Our GYO program - no ESSER funds dedicated to that. We are working with Phi Delta Kappa and received a 3 year grant to support the program. Districts pay a reduced fee to participate.
Andrew Emrich
01:01:37
Great, thank you for the clarification.
Austin Estes | CCSSO
01:03:42
@Andrew, nationwide we've documented more than $1.4 billion of state ESSER set-aside funds that have been dedicated to supporting school staff. That includes GYO programs as well as retention bonuses, leadership development programs, and more.
Elizabeth Ross (OSSE) - Deputy Assistant Superintendent TAL
01:04:35
@Andrew - on the topic of GYO, we're also running a GYO program in DC with local funds. We're currently funding two EPPs (one focused on dual enrollment for high school students and one focused on supporting paraprofessionals to transition to the teaching profession).
